What does “guaranteed minimum weight” mean?
It is the minimum weight we guarantee for your selected variant. If the product states 3 g, a piece fulfilling that order contains at least 3 g of the stated gold alloy. The actual weight may be higher; the agreed price stays the same.
Does the weight refer to pure gold?
No. It refers to the gold alloy in the selected fineness, such as 18K or 14K. Stones and non-gold components are not included in the guaranteed minimum alloy weight.
Why can two pieces have different weights?
The crafting process and the characteristics of each piece can result in weight differences. We therefore state a guaranteed minimum and check each piece before shipping.
Is there a surcharge if my piece weighs more?
No additional weight surcharge is applied automatically. You purchase the complete piece at the agreed price. If our check identifies a difference that requires reviewing the order, we contact you before shipping and proceed only with your explicit agreement.
What happens if the checked weight is below the minimum?
We do not ship that piece as fulfilling the promised minimum. We contact you to agree on a compliant piece, an expressly accepted alternative, or cancellation with a refund. We do not substitute the piece or change the price without your agreement.
